my 2000 jimmy 4wheel drive will not work. I currently have no dash board indicator lights , and all my dash lights come on when key is first turned on for self check, but 4x4 cluster does not self check. all fuses inside and out are good . I've pulled atc fuses and turned key on and off 5 times still not working ,other advice was to unplug 2 cables at tccm but my jimmy only has 1 cable at tccm. i've uplugged it and still no solution

I would suspect a faulty switch, or vacuum line. On some vehicles, this can be caused by a bad electrical ground, or broken wire leading to the transfer case. there are some tricks too to unlock it before you start replacing parts, put it on drive then hit the brakes then take the reverse and see if it unlocks. if doesnt work then have the switch, vacuum line, electrical grounds be checked.

I have 2000 Jimmy 4wheel drive

could be tranny mount has dry rotted on you/ or engine mount. Have a friend get in the car and put it in gear while holding the brake down, get under the car (carefully) before this happens and see if the tranny or engine jumps more than it should. Also inspect for worn/dry rotted suspension bushings on your shocks, a-arms, panhard bar, etc...

If you can't find anything out of the ordinary, take it to a AAMCO to get the tranny inspected. Could have a faulty sylinoid in the tranny.

Could be alot of things unfortunatly.
