Question about GMC Jimmy
Thanks for using FixYa. As you have already replaced the switch on the transfer case, clean the vacuum lines and also check under the battery tray that the boot is not ripped which controls the leaver to engage the front axel. If ripped then replace it. This issue can also be caused by poor vacuum not pulling the cable all the way to fully engage or disengage the gear. Noise might be also due to small gear and nylon washer in the front differential going bad. If so replace them.
