There is an electric selinoid that releases when you depress the brake pedal. It should be under the cover were your shifter is. That can go bad. You might have a blown fuse or the switch on the brake pedal could be bad. You should have a place to remove a cap and insert you key to get the car into netural.

SOURCE: 1994 Corolla shift lever stuck in park and no

The brake switch on brake pedal is bad. Tells transmission brake is depressed so it will come out of park. Also controls brake lights. It's a plunger type switch that just has a little pin that when extended completes a circuit and allows brake lights to come on. Shouldn't be hard to replace just might be aggravating to get to.

SOURCE: My toyota corolla 1994 dx is stuck in park but

The brake switch on brake pedal is most likely bad. It tells the transmission that the brake is applied allowing it to come out of park.

On the 1994 Toyota Corolla, there is an override switch, which is located above the gear shift under a plastic tab. ( You need something like a key or screwdriver to depress it), It will get you out of park and allow you to drive. I'm guessing however that the "brake light service switch" is the problem and needs to be fixed, so having got it moving, I would suggest you drive it to your dealer to get it examined

Car wont turn

i presume what you are saying is you hear the starter engage but the motor doesn't turn over. get a boost and try starting the car. if it will not turn over then... have someone turn the key while another person taps the starter with a hammer. if it starts then you need to replace the starter.

On top of the cover of the fuses it will tell you what that fuse was for. Odds are whatever it is, is shorting out and will need to be replaced.
