What should it cost to replace both rear brake lines on a 2003 Hyundai elantra front to back

Its cheaper if u buy lines and do it yourself honestly. But you will also need brake fluid and a friend to help you bleed all brake lines

How do I stop brakes shuddering

If you are referring to the Brake Pulsating or Steering Wheel shaking when applying the brakes - that is more than likely warped rotors. Which may be that you are due for brake system maintenance/repair.
Usually that happens about when the pads are worn out. It will need the rotors turned or replaced and probably brake pads replaced also. With Disc Brakes front and rear you may be able to view the thickness of the lining on the pads through the openings on the wheels - depending on which wheels you have
NOTE: The cost of new rotors may be very close to the cost of turning your old ones - check this possibility - if so - buy new :)

REAR BRAKE UPGRADE TO DISC 1997 CHRYSLER VOYAGER

That's an expensive job. You will need new spindles, backing plates, rotors, new master cylinder and a pressure equalizer. You may also need to install new brake lines for the increased volume of fluid. Usually costs around 1000 dollars just for parts. Rear disc brakes are mostly for sports cars. About 80% of a cars braking power comes from the front. Disc brakes aren't necessary for the rear.

How much should it cost to replace calipers and pads on a 2005 6cyl 2wd 4 Runner?

If they order the parts from rockauto its about $630-700 in parts. $50-60 front and rear brake pads, $ 100 -115 2 better front rotors, $100 for better rear rotors, $90 for each rear caliper, 100-125 per front caliper, $10 for each rubber brake line. (The caliper prices include a core fee that you would get back $30-40 per caliper returning the old caliper, but you pay the shipping fees). The ballpark prices also include the additional shipping costs. Labor should be around 2-2.5hrs. So depending on the shop it would be $50-60/hr so total cost $100-150 for the labor. So total would be somewhere around $730-850. You can just have the one caliper replaced, you do not need to replace them all. I would get new rotors on whichever axle (front or rear) the stuck caliper is on and not get the rotors cut, because the faulty caliper could have warped the rotor. Another possibility is that it could just need a new rubber brake line. When my calipers locked on one of my classic trucks, I just replaced the old rubber line and it was good to go. -Fawkes

Replacing a brakeline

Well if you never did this before it depends on how mechical you are and what you have for tools . Ican tell you this it will cost you a lot to have someone else do it . But i can tell you what you would need to do it if your brave enough . Its realy not that hard . You need a small tubeing cutter to cut the line clean and sqaure and a flareing tool to do a single flare on the lines you need to cut . Then you can buy splicers that are flared and have fittings on them already . All you have to do it flare the lines on the vehicle but make sure you put the new conecters on the old lines before you flare them because they will attach to the new wipe line you need to buy it may be olny 6 inches long . So locate the leak in the existing line and cut the line out where it apares to be sound put the new connecters on the old lines flare the ends of the old lines put the new line in and tighten and it will never leak at that point again. The flareing tool costs about 20 to 30 dollars it could save you hundreds if you can do it right Good luck

How much does a rear brake line cost for a 1993 Ford Econoline?

The answer to your question will depend upon who does the work. Option #1: If you purchase the brake line from an automotive supply house (i.e. AutoZone), the enire repair will run you less than $50. This estimate will include the cost of the brake line(s) and the needed brake fluid. P.S. you must bleed the brakes, but this does not cost anything more, its just work. Option #2: if you bring the car in and have the work done I would estimate the repair to run anywhere from $400 to $500.

After putting brake fluid in, the fluid leaks out when the brakes are pumped. The fluid is coming out behind the gas tank where the brake line runs into a "box" like part.

What year is the car no never mind the brake line is rusted out chevy discidied that stanless steel was to expensive to use for brake lines as well fuel lines in the mid 90s through who knows when The good news is its cheap to fix parts wise but you need some smart enought to fix it The job requires a tubeing cutter a flareing tool and about 6 inches of new brake line with flares and fittings at a cost of 5 dollars at napa im not suposto tell you a name so i need a spelling error

I was driving down the high way and my caliper fell off and ripped my brake line and pulled off my e brake line. Or at least thats what i think happenedhow much is this going to cost me

My best guess, not knowing the type of car you're driving, is at least $500-$700. You're looking at the cost of a new caliper, new pads, new brake lines, possible a new rotor, and the labor to replace all of it.

Stuck calipers

You may have contaminated brake fluid. Try flushing out the brake lines, calipers, and master cylinder by bleeding the heck out of the brakes. Use a NEW can of brake fluid (see why below). This is something overlooked in vehicle maintenance. Whenever doing a brake job, flush the system. I learned the hard way, having calipers drag, not fully releasing, to change them and have it happen again. Finally figured out it was bad fluid which was ruining the calipers. Brake fluid absorbs moisture, which will wreck the system. Just leaving a bottle of fluid with a loose, or missing cap will allow moisture to enter. Brake lines will rust on the inside, and loose particles of rust floating around will cause big problems.
