Question about 1996 Mitsubishi Mighty Max
I have a 1996 Mitsubishi Colt Rodeo 3.0 v6 4x4 (in the USA known as Mighty Max I think). Since yesterday it started giving problems by cutting out while driving, shutting down everything. If I try to restart it, the ignition just swings, but it won't start. Once I switch off everything inside the bakkie, aircon, radio etc, it immediately starts. Had it for a battery and alternator test this morning, everything tested fine. Bakkie does not do this all the time (has done this about 4 times since yesterday) but you never know when it is going to act up again. Had all gaskets replaced last year, power cables replaced 2 weeks ago. Bakkie also has a slight miss when idling. Someone said it may be the unichip, but I don't know. Any ideas what could be the problem?
