Hi
It sounds like the heater control panel, where the switch is attached, try to remove it from the dash so you can have a better look behind it, If all appears to be correct then the switch itself has gone.

Hi yes, most likely. I would be looking to check that before going any further, don't buy anything until you have checked it.

I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee LTD V8 4-wheel and there is a "rattling" sound coming from area of the left front tire.

Is this the same problem you were having a year ago, or was that a bad tire ?
Usually a rattle is caused by something loose, such as a strut mount or a ball joint.

Heater wont work in my 1999 jeep cherokee sport. The fan blows but wont get warm. Does not leak in the floorboard as some do. Was wondering if there is a fuse for the heater?

One or more of:

1. Your coolant level is low
2. Your thermostat doesn't close and needs to be replaced
3. The valve from the cooling system to the heater core is stuck
4. Your heater core is clogged

2002 Gr Cherokee Ltd. - Fan not working on Heat or AC -any speed!

I have the same problem... If you have the auto climate control like I do there is a resistor at the bottom of the HVAC assembly right where the passengers foot would go. Be careful playing with these wires but you can wiggle them around and sometimes it worksish. But I've seen jeeps that the entire inside has burnt out because of that wiring. It is hard to find this part without going to the dealership stores say they can order it and then call later and say they cant. But you have to replace both the wiring and the heater resistor which will be a good days worth of work.

A/c heater fan no blow

sounds to me like the blower motor resistor, and if I'm not mistaken the resistor and the blower motor are located under the dash on the passengers side. the resistor should have a wiring connection and 2 screws attaching it to the blower case. The a/c and heater blower will not work if the resistor goes out. hope this helps you out a little. Best wishes.

Is there a fuse for the heater on a 2002 jeep grand cherokee ltd?

Check the fuse, in the block near the battery in the engine compartment. If that's not the problem it is likely the HVAC controls, the thing in the dash with the swtiches on it.
