Kia Sorento 2005 model radio reset after battery change the 4 digit security code skips from each number when you are required to enter multiple numbers to reach the individiual digit, i.e. press number 1 x 8 times if your first digit is number 8, instead it skips through to the next digit not allowing you to move from one code digit to the next

Radio doesn't work 2013 sorento just went out 1200 miles

We experienced an intermittent problem where the entire audio system on our new 2013 Kia Sorento would fail to turn on at all after a brief stop (at a thruway rest area) on a long trip. When it happened twice the dealer replaced the entire unit and we had been trouble free for almost a year when my daughter reported something flaky happening to the radio recently again. I am keeping me eyes on this problem once again.

Have verified that my newly purchased 03 kia sorento has remote keyless entry, but professional locksmith cannot get new remote to program. Remote is Bontec T009, pretty sure it is correct one. Could it be...

Yes the 03 and up sorento has a keyless remote entry, You do not need to reset the ECU, you however need to reprogram the remote trasmitter to your car so they communicate, otherwise it will never work if you do not program it. You will need to take this to a kia dealership with the remote transmitter. They may or may not charge you for a fee. However I did had a remote, and it became damaged when my kid drop it in the fish tank. I was able to get it done at the dealship, 35 for the remote, and 50 for service fee. I did however found some link referal to manually do it yourself, Please check this forum out http://www.kia-forums.com/2003-2010-sorento-forum/34549-remote-keyless-entry.html. For me, I did not bother, because I did not want to take the chance to mess up something else.

KIA SORENTO CODE P 1186. Tubes are rotated OIL FILTER also NAFTS PUMP IS NEW. ISSUED WITH THE SAME PROBLEM

P1186

FTS Low - Fuel Pump Temperature Sensor Low

I do not know what to do about this. Most likely you will have to replace the fuel pump. Make sure you received the correct pump if you purchased and installed a new one. You might be able to reset the system by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.

Ican't get my code P1330 erased please explane

In most newer computer systems, fault codes are stored in a "nonvolatile" memory that is not lost if the battery is disconnected. The codes remain intact until they are cleared using a scan tool

Engine misfire

The computer will take time to learn the new pattern. The computer is what actually controls the timing and when the system has been reset, the computer has to relearn. Can take up to 20 starting times.
