Why does the Lexus rx300 belt make a squeel noise when a/c unit starts running?

Most LIKELY is either the belt needs to be replaced or the belt tensioner needs to be replaced. The belt gets hard and "slick" as it ages, the tensioner holds the belt tightly against the pulleys. Either could cause slippage (hence the squeal) when the A/C comes on.

How often should timing belts be replaced

Trick question. The 2.7L has a timing chain and not belt. 3.0L needs a new belt every 60,000 but some companies sell a kevlar/nitrile replacement that's supposed to be good for 100K. Do the water pump at the same time. 2.4L needs a belt at 60K.

How do i adjust belt tension

Technically you don't.
The serpentine belt is kept tight by a spring loaded pulley called a tensioner.
If the belt is slipping, either the belt has stretched and needs to be replaced, or the spring in the tensioner has failed and it needs to be replaced.

What is the book time to replace a half shaft left side. also time for changing the bottom radiator hose, and both alternator belt and ac belt.

With proper maintenance the half shaft should never need replaced. If your mechanic says to then do, otherwise there is no definate way of telling you when it needs it. The radiator hose will need changed when it feels soft. This will be pretty easy to tell as the bottom hose is the 'low' side of the system which means this is where the water pump sucks the coolant from. They make the bottom hose usually a lot stiffer even with a spring in it sometimes to keep it from collapsing. If its soft it needs replaced. If the belts are squealing, it needs replaced. You should have a serpentine belt. So if the inside (ribs) of the belt look cracked or there are missing ribs it needs replaced.

How to know if timing belt on volvo t6 needs to be replaced if dealer stamps and bills don't show it. The 105 page was stamped.

The timing belt should have been replaced at the 105K service. Someone should look at the timing belt to determine the condition. However, if you have any doubts, you should replace it to be on the safe side. Also replace the mechanical tensioner.

How can i stop my AC belt from making noises when my AC is on

The reason your belt is making a noise is either your belt is worn and needs replacing or the belt tension is out of adjustment and needs checking and adjusting.
It is a good idea to replace it anyway specially if the belt has small cracks on the inside.

How do I tighten the A/C belt on my 2008 Mazda 5? The darn thing is squealing so loud but I can't seem to find a tensioner anywhere...

If it is a serpentine belt is is self adjusting. So if it is squealing then it needs replacing as it is worn out. And also possibly the tensioner needs replacing as it may not be holding sufficient tension on the belt. If it is a drive belt it more than likely still needs replacing as it will have become glazed from slipping. On a drive belt it is adjusted by loosening the mounting bracket on the A/C and moving it in a direction that tightens the belt.

2003 town and country. belt squealing. put dressing on it. it got worse. wht needs to be donr?

It needs to be replaced. Belt dressing is a scam, it might have worked in the 60's, but in this century it ruins belts.

How many miles before timer belt needs replaced

they recommend that 100,00km service includes timing belt but in my experience it wouldnt hurt any thing after 80,000km it'll make the 100,000km service alot cheaper.
