Check the IAC valve (idle air control) might be dirty and sticking. Remove air intake hose to engine, spray throttle body cleaner in upper right opening in throttle body to clean, also spray all areas of throttle body while opening and closing butterfly, then start truck and spray IAC valve and openings while running. If that does not work replace the IAC valve with new one.

How to diagnose my car to save time and money

MAINTAINANCE, this is an important word ! an never assume ! tune-up is another, so begin with tune-up, spark plugs, wires, cap / rotor, fuel filter, oil filter, fresh oil, transmission filter /fluid , very important, air filter must be changed also. don't go over 45-50mph until you do all of the above dude. put some drygas in your tank, red bottle, has fuel injector cleaner in it. now get to work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

It will drive fine for awhile and then out of no where it will 'bog' down, pulling choke in or out doesn't help. Have cleaned air filter, fuel filter ? Thanks, Karin 1983 Suzuki SJ-410

I would definitely change fuel filter If you never have but it could be happening when it gets hot
Have you had it long ? have you tuned it up before ?Is it at hills when it bogs......?
Is the air conditioning on when it happens ? How many miles on it ?
Change fuel filter and check all plugs and wires for good /clean connection and vacum lines to make sure they are connected...I will check back to see what you find .......
The fuel filter might solve your problem though because this is how they act when clogged...
contaminants float around and then finally clog to slow fuel flow...Then when you stop and shut it off
they float away then start all over again and get sucked back into filter.....Let me know .....I hope this might help but I really need more info............................................metalpoet

Seems to blow cold air at times when the engine has been running long enough to be hot and lately its been slow to start and sometimes chokes out immediately after starting

Re: blowing cold - I'd flush cooling system and replace thermostat. Re: hard start - when was last healthy tune up? Plugs, wires, all filters including FUEL FILTER and run a good fuel cleaner through it.

My 1994 mazda 626 starts and ldles but stalls when driving

ENGINE STALL WHILE DRIVING COULD BE STOPPED UP FUEL FILTER OR FAULTY FUEL PUMP.IDLE SPEED TOO LOW.OR IGNITION COIL HAS A LOOSE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION.FAULTY IGNITION MODULE.BAD PLUGS AND WIRES. I WOULD DO A LITTLE TUNE UP.CHANGE FUEL FILTER AND AIR FILTER.IF SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES HAS OVER 30000 MILES ON THEM I WOULD CHANGE THEM.ALSO FUEL FILTER IF OVER 30000 MILES.CHANGE IT CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS. TO TROUBLE SHOOT CAR I WILL DO A LITTLE TUNE UP FIRST TO MAKE EVERYTHING TOP NOTCH ON THE ENGINE BEFORE I GO TO NEXT LEVEL.BUYING NEW PARTS DONT NEED.GET VECHICLE SCANNED WITH A SCANNER. THAT WILL ALSO PIN POINT PROBLEM QUICKLY.BUT DO THE LITTLE TUNE UP FIRST IF EVERYTHING PAST 30000 MILES MARK.SCAN VECHICLE FOR FAULTY IDLE SPEED CODES OR FAULTY IGNITION MODULE CODE THEY WILL COST MORE MONEY TO FIX.PARTS HIGH.

My jeep just started acting up it raddals and shakes when i push the gas and pops when i go around a curve and push the gas i have no power goin up a hill goes so slow. Anyone know whats wrong with it

Sounds like you might have bad spark plug wires, nothing a tune -up wont fix, spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, and gas filter, not knowing the year of your car, also check distributor cap and rotor, good luck, hope this was very helpful, happy 4th.

Rough idle when starting,

after the tune-up stuff, i would look into fuel pressure, mass air flow sensor, or even the start of a clogged cat converter.
