Question about 1994 Oldsmobile Bravada

Single Stage Paint

I was thinking about painting my bravada with a single stage paint and I was wondering how long it will last before it starts fading and losing its glossiness. Any help would be appreciated.

Good choice single stage is so under rated. Spies Hecker has a kick *** single stage 270 series and so does BASF. Its all to do with UV if you live in the north it will last 10 15 years in the south maybe 5. Keep it out of the sunlight and it will last 4 ever

Has suzuki marine improved there paint

you are in cars and trucks with boat question, failure....
what paint we cant guess the object you are alluding to.
but Ill answer.
all paint does that, now and forever.
the sun always wins. always.
no paint on earth lasts forever,
why not go to any paint shop for RV and ask them.
or any pro vehicle paint shop.
hopefully they will not giggle most will put their SALES hat
and go, gee ours dont fade?(lies)
then sell you a paint job.

marine what, jet ski, must we guess, or outboard motor casings
or hulls?? what?

keep the vehicle garaged, paint last near forerver
or buy a tarp.
but outside, under MR. SOL, its doomed.

Is the fuel pump for this truck a two stage pump?

Depends on the year and make of the car. Some are 2 stage some are single stage. Toyotas usually come equipped with a standard single stage. You can buy after market single stage with dual channels for improved pressure under heavy racing. :)

Blown head gasket on 1990 Toyota Corolla wagon

Important to get original or genuine parts, make sure both surfaces are spotless, undo head bolts in correct pattern (middle to outer in alternated criss cross in stages), replace in reverse order. Stage 1 - 22 ft-lb
Stage 2 - 36 ft-lb
Stage 3 - Put a dot of white paint on the head bolts at the 12 o'clock position and then turn the bolts 90 Degrees in a diagonal sequence.
The dots of paint will then be in the 3 o'clock position.

Is there too much moisture in the air to paint Dunn Edwards outside exterior paint

Hi Sheri

I trust you are well.

I would suggest you paint on a bright sunny day when the walls you want to paint are properly dry, any paint will not take well on damo walls.

Hope this helps

kind regards

I'm painting a fibreglass bodied car,it needed quite a few repairs and so after applying bondo and flatting I first shot 2 coats of primer wet flat with 800 but I could see the original paint and filler in...

I don't understand what you are doing here. What ford has a fiberglass body 800 is to corse thats why it went flat you need a sealer and you don't say what kind of finish or primer but then it sounds like you have got fixed so i don't know
