What is your question? You know oil leaks aren't normal! Get it checked out. You do have a repair shop lined up before you need one, don't you. The one you go to, several times a year, just do do preventative maintenance.

Why does the oil light turn on when rpm drops below 1000

Oil light pops on at low rpm because at a low rpm, your engine is not running fast enough to maintain full pressure. this is because either you have an oil leak, or defective oil pressure switch.

My pt cruiser 06 2.8 turbo started leaking oil?

OK, anytime oil gets into the cooling system or vice versa, there's a strong possibility that there is a leak at the head gasket.

Could have to do with overspeeding the engine.

The cooling system can get up to 14 to 16 psi, enough to burst into the oil lines which run next to the cooling lines in the head and block.

If it's spilling on the front driver's side of the car, then you have some serious problems with this engine.

Location of engine oil change plug on 2006 chrysler PT Cruiser 2.4 Liter

Hello. In order to drain the oil you will have to get under the engine where you will see the oil pan with a plug in it. In order to refill the oil you will see an engine oil cap under the hood. Regards, Joe

I have an oil leak, oil shows up on top of the engine.

Spray cold engine down with carb cleaner or brake cleaner. Let air out. Keep watch on where you first see the oil. It is most likely from your valve cover gasket.
