Forget the codes,it's a 1992 obd1,not much to look at,I own one since new,18 years. Do you hear the fuel pump when turning the key on and off? If not check out the relay, put a pressure gauge on the fuel rail if you hear the pump and pull the hose of the regulator for pump pressure. Also check the pump wire harness for dirt, corrosion on top off fuel tank, and good luck gettin to that. Also check alt output,it has to drive that pump

Check your ground strap from the engine to the frame & from the frame to the battery. Clean up all connections.

I suspect you will have a check engine light on in your dash.
You will need to retrieve any code with a OBD II reader.
Try spraying carb cleaner in intake, see if it will start. It may be a fuel problem.
Please let me know what you find.

1992 dodge 318 engine turns over, but no start. No spark present. Replaced ignition coil and pickup coil, still no spark.

Some dodges have an oblong shaped white ceramic block, either mounted on the firewall or on inner fender well, with wire connections, one on each end, if there is one, replace it.

Runs normally, no check lights. Occasionally dies, will not restart or start only after long shut-down period. During period of "non-start", no spark/fire at plugs, distributor, or coil.

This unit has a pickup in the distributor that tells the coil when to fire. Check to see if you have power at the coil. If yes, connect a test light to the ground side of the coil and have an assistant crank the engine. The test light should flash on and off. If not, you have a problem inside the distributor. The pickup coil or the ignition module are at fault. Good Luck
