Try to disconnect the battery and touch the cables together for 10 seconds with battery disconnected to see if that helps. Thanks

Do the reset again and if you keep having problems your body control module likely needs to be replaced. Let me know if you have questions, thanks.

  • edwin187 Feb 08, 2010

Make sure you touch the cables together for 10 seconds with battery disconnected.

  • edwin187 Feb 08, 2010

No, its not the controls all of the options such as cd player, heated seats, cluster, hatch, ect. Its located in the center console under the shifter.

  • edwin187 Feb 08, 2010

To the left on top of the fuse panel.

  • edwin187 Feb 08, 2010

No problem, I'm happy I was able to help. Installing a new body control module will need to be done at the dealership because it takes special programming. I'd try the reset procedure a few more times to see if you can get everything working normal otherwise it will be about 4-500 total at the dealership. Thanks

I can't open the hood of my 2003 Pontiac Aztek.

The release is under there - get a flashlight and look for a metal piece sticking into the hood. It should move either left, right, forward, or back to release from the hood. You really need to get down below the hood to find it.
