You don't adjust valves on a 4G63 2.0 16 valve DOHC motor. It has hydraulic valve lifters.

After idling for a few minutes heavy smoke out exhaust for the first 50 feet then fine, What's up with that? 1992 Eagle talon


Your valve seals are leaking oil into the cylinders.It is annoying but you can live with it if you use a heavier oil like 20W50 & a product like STP can also help. Short of removing the cylinder heads & doing a refurb, this may solve your problem. Hope this helps! Good luck!

check for pcv valve and vent for blockage ,should be vacuum. valve train could be stopped up and not draining down ,or u need a ring job rebuild
