Windshield wiper doesn't work on the driver's side?

It sounds like the retaining nut has come loose. First cycle the wipers and shut off to put in the park position, Remove the cap at the base of the wiper arm there should be a nut. Position wiper to where it usually rests in the park position, and tighten nut. Try the wipers, if working replaced cap good to go. If it still doesn't move then quite likely that side arm has popped off the wiper transmission underneath the front cowl. Remove both wiper arms by taking off nuts and prying off, check underneath the cowl. If you find the arm popped off a ball stud reattach and try wipers (without installing cowl or wiper arms, just check to see if both sides swivel. If it pops off again its worn out and you will need a wiper transmission.

I have one wiper that does not work the other stops in the middle of the windshield how can i fix them

The motor could be bad, but it's likely that the ball joint connections under the hood area under the cowl have become disconnected for the one windshield wiper arm.

The connection of the arm that moves should be checked for being at the correct angle for parking.

Windshield wiper motor broken

It's not to difficult, you have to remove the wiper arms, then the wiper cowl,(the panel between the hood and the windshield.) then there is a smaller plastic cover just above the motor. Then you just pop off the link arm from the ball socket and un bolt the motor.

Windshield wipers stopped working on 1998 Nissan Sentra. Is it a fuse problem? If so, where is fuse box and which fuse? Is it a motor problem? is this an easy diy fix?

Water can enter and displace the grease in the wiper arm linkage ball joint where the wiper linkage attaches to the wiper motor linkage.

This can result in gradual wear over a period of time inside the joint that could lead to the separation of the wiper linkage assembly from the wiper motor linkage at the ball joint. A loss of windshield wiper function can result when this separation occurs.

To prevent grease from being washed out of the joint, the dealers will modify by adding a water diversion seal that will prevent water from entering the windshield wiper linkage ball joint area.

The wiper arms on my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder SE don't work.

there are no screws they are retainers that pop off / the trick is to be careful pulling off the vent cowl panels because the clips can be hard to get look what side you need to take off and their may be ends which should come off first.

97 nissan sentra windshield wiper linkage arm disconnected

Most likely you will have to replace the wiper linkage from the center pivot to the left or drivers-side wiper pivot. The plastic piece in the linkage gets brittle over time and breaks down. To save a hassle in the future, replace both linkages. It should be under $20.00 for parts.
