my mitsubhi 2008 endevor wont come out of park
when you go to squeeze in the safety button and press your foot on the brake to shift to reverse or drive it will not press the safety button in.

The shift interlock is not disengaging.
Look for a removable plug near the shifter that you can stick a pen into and disengage the solenoid manually.

There is a switch on your brake pedal that unlocks the shifter electrically. if the switch is broken or mis-aligned - the interlock will not disengage. (or the solenoid itself has failed.

Your owners manual should also have info on disengaging the interlock.

Thanks!!

Sounds like the neutral/safety switch is faulty. It is attached to the brake switch and when you press the brake it allows the tranny to shift.

This would be the park/neutral safety switch or the brake shift interlock
An actuator solenoid and module assembly, located on the lower portion
of the steering column, locks the shifter in Park whenever it receives
a signal that the ignition switch is in the ON position. When the
module receives a signal from the Brake On-Off (BOO) switch that
indicates the brake pedal is depressed, it unlocks the shifter so that
it can be shifted out of Park."

It says the most common failures in the system are the fuse and the BOO
switch, and if they are fine, special tools are needed to diagnose.

To disable the system: Apply the parking brake, turn the ignition key
to LOCK, then remove the key. Insert the key and turn it to OFF. Press
the brake pedal. Shift to neutral, start the vehicle and select the
    desired gear.

Upon further investigation I've found that two
electrical components interlock the shift lever. A shift lock soleniod
and a shift lock relay. The solenoid is energized and locks the shift
lever when the key switch is in the on position. When the brake pedal
is pressed the shift lock releay is energize and the rely contact opens
the shift lock solenoid circuit (de-energizing the solenoid) releasing
the shift lever to move from park.

I suspect, but haven't confirmed that the key switch is mechanically interlocked with the shift lever button.

When you select the "ACC" position the shift lock solenoid isn't
energized and the mechanical interlock is released allowing the shift
lever to be moved to the neutral position. Then the key switch can
engage the starter and your in buisness.

2008 trailblazer shifted from neutral to drive had it jacked up before now wont go into park and nothing works

Since you had it in neutral, the battery could have drained. Many things are still on when you can't turn the key completely off. And you can't when it is in neutral.

My jeep wrangler 2008 - I shifted to reverse then to parking, when i release the breaks it kept going in reverse. So i turn off the engine. now it wont start the engine, neither the shifter will move

The shifter cable has broken more than likely ,Find the shift shaft on the transmission,,block the wheels and remove the shift cable from the shift shaft, put the gear shift in park, then shift the shift shaft in park, then it will start,Then of course you will have to replace the shift cable.

Cant find where to adjust headlights on mitsubisi

The adjustment screws/nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly, behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator support.

You will have vertical adjustment screws for each independent beam (separate highs and separate lows, but will be same screw if highs and lows are the same bulb). You may also have additional horizontal adjustment screws as well

Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same bulb, only do it for the lows)

If the headlights read VOR, then aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall. If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.
