Question about 1997 Ford Aerostar Extended

I need a 97 aerostar 3L radiator bypass hose diagram; I replaced the lower radiator hose, and as I was putting the smallest hose back on, the little nib that it goes on to broke off! I don't know what that part is called, in order to ask for another one.

Use a flat blade screwdriver if its got two jubilee clips make sure the car is cold!,,,,as you risk burning yourself also after you replace the hose put water in and put heater settings on hot start the car let it get to temperature halfway on temp guage switch car off and let cool down completly check water level and top up if neede

Not that easy to change. You may need a crow's foot wrench on the fitting where the PS hose connects to the rack and pinion-on the car frame member behind the transaxle. Raise the driver front of car on stands, remove wheel. PS hoses, the pressure line and the return line, both connect at about the same place on the rack and pinion unit. See if you can get a regular wrench on the hose in question, and loosen it. If you can, (use rags or a can to catch leaks), then take off the hose in question up top on the PS pump, or on the PS reservoir. The pressure hose comes from the pump. The return hose goes to the reservoir-or some just both go to the pump and reservoir, if it's a single unit.
Suction out the fluid from reservoir before removing hose, or you will have a big mess to clean up afterward. If loosened from top and bottom, there should be a hose holding bracket on the backside of engine or transmission.

WELL YOU NEED TO DRAIN COOLANT LEVEL BELOW THERMOSTAT LEVEL.YOU HAVE TO DISCONNECT MAF SENSOR LOOSEN AIRDUCT 2 LARGE CLAMPS LOOSEN REMOVE 4 SCREWS TO AIR FILTER COVER LIFT UP REMOVE COVER. THEN REMOVE AIR FILTER AND HOUSING, FIRST DISCONNECT MAF SENSOR.YOU HAVE TO DISCONNECT THROTTLE CABLE AND SHIFT CABLE.YOU HAVE TO DISCONNECT REMOVE THROTTLE BODY COOLANT HOSES DISCONNECT IDLE SPEED CONTROL VALVE CONNECTOR AND DISCONNECT TPS SENSOR CONNECTOR. THEN REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY. My heater not working, i replaced thermostat and radiator hoses, had radiator flushed and rodded, and still no heat. What is wrong?


Too much blockage in heater hoses or heater core.
Bypass valve may be stuck on "bypass" .

1. Remove bypass "Tees", but don't discard.
Replace with straight-through hose fittings.
The core may start leaking under the water pressure since there is no bypass hose.

Once the heater starts working, put Tees back in place. You need bypass protection or the engine will overheat.

I have a 97 Lincoln Continental. I am trying to replace the cooling fan. I have the shroud loose but can't figure out how to get out. Any help would helpful. Thanks


YOU NEED TO TAKE IT OUT FROM THE BOTTOM REMOVE PLASTIC SHROUD THEN DRIAN AND PULL LOWER RADIATOR HOSE FROM RADIATOR AND THE REST IS PRETTY SELF EXPLANATORY MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE CLIPS FOR THE WIRRING BEFORE YOU EVEN START

I need 2 know how to remove the radiator


THIS IS a 1995 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL W/4.6L ENGINE
iIBELIEVE TOWN CAR IS DIFFERENT LET ME KNOW IF SO AND PLEASE DONT FORGET TO RATE ME


REMOVAL
  1. Disconnect battery ground cable (14301).
  2. Drain engine coolant.
  3. Remove engine air cleaner (ACL) (9600).
  4. Remove upper radiator hose (8260) from water bypass tube.
  5. Remove radiator overflow hose (8075) from radiator (8005) and fan shroud (8146). NOTE: Loosen transmission oil cooler lines while securely holding radiator connector with a back-up wrench.
  6. Remove transmission oil cooler line from oil cooler inlet fitting.
  7. Remove nuts retaining A/C condenser core to the radiator.
  8. Disconnect engine control sensor wiring (12A581) from the auxiliary electric cooling fan motors and the CCRM.
  9. Raise vehicle on hoist.
  10. Remove splash shield from lower radiator support (16138) and front sub-frame (5C 145).
  11. Remove lower radiator hose (8286) from radiator. NOTE: Loosen transmission oil cooler lines while securely holding radiator connector with a back-up wrench.
  12. Remove oil transmission cooler line from oil cooler outlet fitting on radiator.
  13. Remove retaining screws for power steering/transaxle oil cooler and position cooler aside.
  14. Support fan shroud, radiator and A/C condenser core (19712) with a suitable jackstand. Remove lower radiator support. Position jackstand aside and carefully remove radiator and fan shroud.
  1. Remove two retaining bolts for fan shroud at top of radiator and remove fan shroud from radiator.
  2. Remove upper radiator hose from radiator.
INSTALLATION
  1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
  2. Tighten fan shroud bolts and A/C condenser core nuts to radiator to 3-5 Nm (27-44 inch lbs.) .
  3. Tighten lower radiator support bolts to 8-11 Nm (71-97 inch lbs.) .
  4. Tighten transmission oil cooler lines to fittings to 25-28 Nm (18-21 inch lbs.) .
  5. Tighten power steering/transaxle oil cooler and splash shield retaining screws securely.
  6. Refill engine coolant.

Pump on a 97 dodge v-8 van


remove the upper half of radiator shroud removfan then belt take pulley off of pump loosen clamps on lower hose and bypass hose you may have to loosen accessory bracket but you dont have to take it out then remove water pump cleanup old gasket and reinstall
