How ti install wiper motor

The wiper motor is usually under the plastic piece at the bottom of the windshield. Remove the screws around it to expose the motor and you will see how it bolts up to the wiper arms. Not too hard to do it.

How to replace a front windshield wiper motor?

You need to pop your hood up, remove your windshield wiper arms but make sure you mark the position of the arms marking on the arm and arm attachment for re-installation alignment, Remove rubber seal and plastic screws (Phillips head), remove windshield wiper water line from left side, then carefully remove plastic cowl. Under neath will be your wiper arms and motor. You can remove all 8 mm bolts and then remove whole plastic cowl and deatach the wiper motor. Installation is in reverse order of removal.

99 accord, wipers not working but wiper motor is running

Pop off the plastic cover under your windshield that runs the length of your hood. Sounds like your wiper linkage popped off of your wiper motor. These are plastic ball joints. Or if you or a previous owner popped your wiper arms off, they might have stripped because they are aluminum.

How to replace windshield wiper motor in oldsmobile alero

should be fairly simple. mark the wipers position while they are off for reinstallation. remove the wiper arms by taking the nuts off the bottom side, and gently pry up on them and work them loose. with the hood up, remove the wiper cowl (plastic that runs along the bottom of the windshield). the wiper motor will be on the drivers side. the wiper linkage usually either bolts on directly to the motor shaft with one bolt. take that bolt/nut off, remove the mounting bolts on the motor itself, unplug the motor and remove. to install reverse process and put wiper arms back to the position you marked them.

How do I access the windshield wiper assembly?

You have to remove the wiper arms by prying off the black platic piece over the nut. Remove the nut and the wiper arms. There should be 5 places on the black plastic piece that runs the length of the windshield. Remove 4 of them by prying them out. The one is the middle is a screw. Pull away the plastic piece and you should have access to the mechanism below. I think you need to replace the linkage if it has fallen off.

Windshield wipers wont turn but the wiper motor runs

you likely broke the plastic gear inside the wiper motor by turning wiper on when wipers were frozen to glass. you will have to replace the motor.
you can buy motor on Ebay cheap.
you have to remove screen at bottom of windshield for access. remove side windshield mouldings to be abe to get screen off.
watch very, very carefully how you get wiper linkage out or you will have a hard time getting it back in.
