just did one , the heater motor quit , and nothing works , replace the heater / blower fan motor , under the hood , passangers side , you'll have to remove the windshield washer tank and i found it was easier to jack the passangerside up , remove the passangerside wheel and remove the screws from the plastic inner fenderwell , at least the back ones . sorry it isnt easier , but thats what i went thru
remove the power window switch and run a jumper wire to the TAN wire ground to the BLACK wire then if the switch is working roll the window up if the problem is the switch then jump power to the light/blue wire and ground to the white wire to roll up the driverside window , switch them to roll window down, power to brown/white and ground to violit and the passangerside window will roll up, switch them to roll it down.
Okay, bank 1 is the driverside, you need to know bank 1 but what sensor? theres bank 1 sensor 1 and then bank 1 sensor 2, sensor 1 is before the cat and sensor 2 is after the cat, then the last sensor on that truck would be bank2 sensor 1 this one is on the pass/side before the cat, heres a picture to help, the bank 1 sensor two goes in rear of converter, the other two are on the manifolds, the sensor you need is on the driverside manifold, hope this helps.
bank 1 is pass/side exhaustpipe/converter bank 2 is on the driverside, this car has two converters, so you have 4 oxygen sensors, one before and one after the converter on each side, so bank 1 sensor1 is pass/side before the converter, bank 1 sensor 2 is pass/side after the converter, then bank 2 sensor1 is driverside before the converter, before means starting at motor, then bank 2 sensor 2 is driverside after the converter, heres a diagram to help, i hope this is helpful.
on my gmc i have 2 knock sensors and im not possitive if you have two or not under your intake mani but when i replaced both mine i got the same code of low input so i took the small needle out and wire brushed it clean and also traced and ran a new wire just to be safe and that solved my problem. as for bank 1,2 if it helps any my bank one is located engine side driverside and bank2 is engine side passenger side and 3 and 4 are underneath bed side. but you can see the sensors if you look real close near the headers. hope this helps
