Question about 1992 Ford F350
There are 3 bolts holding your starter on. i suggest a socket, long extension and a ratchet for the top hard to reach bolt. wrench works fine on the other 2 bolts

Obviously you do not have the one missing; therefore I would do one of two things... Take out one of the others, if there three, then no problem the other will hold till you get the other two back in. If the one you lost is broken off in the bell housing, then you must take off the starter and drill out the broken bolt and you can get a replacement from the Ford dealer, Pep Boys or a junk yard.

No, there are no bolts that hold it in from the back side, but make sure that you have removed the air conditioning compressor/power steering bracket so that it will clear the studed bolt on the water pump housing that the bracket rests on.
