I need to replace the blower motor with is to the right about behind from the glove box. I I had to force it to get it out of the hole, I broke the fan in the process which was no big deal as there is a new fan on the motor. I cannot get the white plastic assembly apart to get the new fan in. I can send pictures if you want them.

The venting would most easiest be accessed through the glove box area or under the control panel where radio and heater controls are. There are many screws that hold the venting together. So the more you move in front of it, the more access you will have. I like removing the glove box compartment for the easiest access. The motor should fit if you turn it just the right way before connecting the wire harness.

1994 Honda Prelude si starting problems

Your starter motor is either not getting power or in need of replacement. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with your car.

Also check your battery connections for no corrosion there as well as by the starter motor. Low voltage circuits in a car are extremely vulnerable to poor contact issues.

Will a 1993 prelude automatic transmission fit my 1992 honda accord

If it's the S model, it *should* as it has a F22 motor in it.. the Si and SE has a H23 motor, and the VTEC has a H22 motor. I have heard of people using the F22 transmission on a Prelude motor for longer gearing at highway speeds (per Honda-Tech.com), but I haven't tried the combination myself

How hard or expensive is it to change a speed sensor in a 1991 Honda Prelude SI?

The speedometer sensor is located on the top of the transmission. It is held on by one bolt. Remove the bolt and gently pull and turn the speedometer sensor and the whole assembly will come out of your transmission.

Park your Honda Prelude on a level surface, activate the emergency brake and place blocks behind the back tires for safety. Disconnect the negative battery cable with a terminal puller.

Raise the vehicle on the side of the wheel speed sensor's location. Remove the wheel and tire assemblies.

Disconnect the sensor electrical connection from the wiring harness.

Take note of the connection location for the sensor retainers, grommets and clips. You will need to know this information for the installation process.

Start at the connector end of the sensor cable and remove grommets, clips and retainers in order to free the harness.

Unscrew the sensor mounting bolt and remove the sensor from the differential housing.

Install the new speed sensor by reversing the removal process. Loosely secure the sensor and sensor harness connection in place, taking precaution to keep the harness from twisting or bending. Once in place, torque the sensor mounting bolt to 16 foot pounds (22 Nm). Tighten any bracket bolts to 84 inch pounds (10 Nm).

Lower the vehicle safely and reconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to your owner's manual to perform an ABS system check to confirm that you installed the sensor properly.

Can you put the motor and 5 seed transmission from a 1993 acura integra into a 1994 honda prelude s

No, your car is set up for hydraulic transmission linkage and the Integra is a cable clutch. The mounting would also be a nightmare. The Integra's front motor mount is way different than the Accord and Prelude. Wiring harness would be another nightmare. Just find an Si, they are pretty cheap now.

1992 prelude si - battery/alternator prob?

if you can charge the battery and drive it for a while then sounds like the altenator has failed and is not re-charging the battery, good way to test is to charge the battery, start the car and turn the light on, if everything is dimm or the motor dies there is little to no charge voltage, and will require altenator work
