Do you know which part you need ? You say you do not have heater operating in car ?
Please try this, warm up engine, place your hand on the top radiator hose, is it hot ? can you squeeze it ?
If it is not hot then I would say you should install a new 195 degree thermastat.
Please let me know .

I'm replacing the shifter in my 96 Pontiac sunfire. The plastic part broke and I can't find one anywhere. Can something else be used.

Try independent auto parts store. They seem better to find older parts the autozone and such. After that is the junk yard. or try to repair or make one.

Fix rusted broken small spring under passenger seat it slides back and forth

go to your local hardware store, parts store and buy an expansion spring. cut it to length and bend a new tab on the cut end . fit it to the lever and it will work a treat. Most auto seats have the spring but you will have to upend a seat to get it out as it costs too much for the junk yards to do it.

Window handle

You can try a junk yard, auto parts store (maybe) or the dealer. One of the 3 will be able to source it - withe the junk yard probably having the right part for the east money - auto parts store may have some thing that fits - is new - and cost about the same or more than the junk yard. The dealer will have it or be able to get it - new - and the most costly of all.

Rear mounts that located above axle that bolt into frame. where can i purchase this part ,one for each side. also cost.

You can order that part from most auto parts stores, but you might be able to get it cheaper from a junk yard. There are internet listing services for used parts to shop junk yards nationwide.

Where can I find a replacement part for my 1996 Cadillac Seville. I need a front seat power recliner switch.

Hello: you can call/check with a auto re-cycle yard (junk yard) or a Cadillac dealer. I doubt if a auto parts store could help you but you could ask.

On the left brake back hose there is a proportioning valve it needs to be replaced all the part stores can't order it and the plymonth dealer said it was a hardware item how do i get the valve

Have you tried a Junk / Auto Salvage Yard? If auto parts stores do not have an item, and dealers charge way-too-much, consider a Junk or Auto Savage Yard. Let them know from where-to-where to cut the brake system at. OR (better idea) Offer to go with them into the yard that way you can show them what part you need AND ALSO see the vehicle they are getting it off from. That way you know that the part came off the right vehcile and also what parts are possibly available for future reference!

I need a trans dip stick for a 91 ford aerostar used is fine

Have you tried a local salvage yard? Wrecking yard? Junk yard? Or if there are none convienent, how about looking on Ebay? Or checking with your local Auto Parts store, AutoZone, O'Reillys, Advance, ect. I'd try the junk yards first, and if none available, then the aftermarket stores. Good luck, and good hunting.

Need replacement latch glove box? can this be obtain thru auto part store? or Nissan? or is best way thru junk yard

Junk yard will be the cheapest.

I don't think you'll be able to get it through an auto part store because most of these parts are not universally designed. All manufacturers make slight variations so it's hard to find an exact part.

The dealership will definitely have this part, but the price may or may not be pricey.
