My wipers on my 94 ford ranger stop in the up position, it started with only working on high but then that stopped and it started stopping in the up position, I replaced the multi switch and motor still...

Sounds like the switch in the wiper motor has gone bad. You would have to replace the wiper motor to fix this problem. There are contacts inside the wiper motor head, when you turn them off it supplies power until the wipers return to the resting position and it opens the contact and then they stop. I hope you find this useful and helps you solve your issue.

Find the windshield wiper fuse for a 96 ford f150

That is not a fuse issue. Fuses either work or they don't. It most likely is the contacts on the wiper switch on the steering column causing the problem. I use brake cleaner, others use contact cleaner. Use a spray tube and spray a copius amount up under the rotating part of the switch and turn it back and forth while doing.

Wipers will not turn off

Your wiper relay contacts are stuck. The wiper relay is located INSIDE the wiper motor assembly. You must replace the entire wiper motor assembly to replace the relay.

You might try rapping on the wiper motor with a small hammer or a screwdriver handle a couple times to see if you can jar it loose.

The wipers on my 2005 F-150XLT super cab 4X4 quit working. The washers come on briefly when I turn on the ignition. The washers stay on constantly if I turn the wiper switch to high. I need help! Thanks!

Hello, There is a good photo by photo description on F150 wiper switches at FordF150.net/How to/Fix-Intermittent-Wiper-Problem-PHP. It is the only solution I have seen on this problem.

Otherwise you need a new MFS-multi function- switch.

I hope you feel my solution is very helpful.

1992 ford f150 wipers wont turn off and i replaced motor and wiper switch but they still continue to run

Does your motor have a circuit board that bolts onto it. Did you replace it or just the motor?

My 1997 Ford F150 dies whenever i turn on wipers

sounds like a new problem, I would try unpluging the windshield wiper motor under the hood turn on the switch inside the truck and see if it still dies, if it doesn't suspect a short inside the wiper motor itself (replace wiper motor).

  • Has a two-speed, permanent magnet, three brush electric windshield wiper motor .

  • The wipers make single wipes separated by pauses.
  • The rotary switch is on the end of turn signal and windshield wiper switch .
  • The length of the pause can be set from approximately 1 to 17 seconds.
  • Length of pause decreases as the rotary switch is rotated away from off.
  • Length of pause increases as the rotary switch is rotated toward off.
While in the interval wiper mode:
  • It is normal to hear a slight click at the beginning of each on/pause cycle. NOTE: When using interval wipers, the first wipe may not occur until after a pause of up to 17 seconds.
