The heater blows hot air when in cool position on a 98 olds bravada

AC not working?

on a hot day it will blow warm/hot air if the AC is turned off or not working

If its hot air and AC is working then i would start by checking the fuse or relay. if its not the fuse/relay then i would look into the heater box there is a door that blocks the hot air

My 2003 crv ac went out --no warning, I can not find the ac fuse

Open the interior fuse box by pulling the fuse box lid towards you and off its hinges. Open the engine compartment fuse box by pushing the tab down. Look at the inside cover of the fuse box to determine the location of the fuse you need to replace .It is on the other side of the fuse box cover, located above the battery.

AC does not engage when turned on

Take the glove box out. Behind the fuse box you will find a big gob of black tape, (it looks like a box shape all taped up. Take the tape off and you will find three inline fuse holders taped together. The AC fuse is the 10 amp one.

You can do a simple test, by looking at your AC pump, there sould be a electric clutch on the front of the pump, by connecting it ti shoudl activate the ac pump, if it works then is ok.

Please look online for the year and model of your vehicle. or forum

Ac doesn't work.

The fuse is not in the fuse box. Its a stand alone holder left side by the shock tower in a little black box. Just follow ac power cable.

AC compressor not engaging

Hi, you should never bypass the compresor because it may cause damage to the sistem including the compresor, even if the sistem is charged if it gets a little low it may prevent the cluth to engage to prevent damage ,be sure that you have the proper freon presure.also check the ac relay and the fuse.....good luck
