Question about 2002 Dodge Intrepid
You may have inadvertently identified the cause. With the electrical ground being the only apparent item common to all the problems, it's possible that the vehicle is experiencing an intermittent short in the engine grounding system. Check the engine ground cable(s) for tightness and clean connection, and try adding an extra cable - from just about any bolt head to the firewall or a fender well. This simple addition clears up MANY of the really weird problems thrown at us by late model vehicles.
