Hi, my sisters mitsubishi lancer 2006 does not make any sound when i turn the key to start? what is the issue cause the fans both gone but i dont get a kick.

Could be the car is in gear, battery is low, alternator is dead, coil isn't working, engine ground strap is corroded, either way it sounds electrical. If you can get it to the point where you hear the starter click then you're heading in the right direction.

2002 Freelander Changed dead battery now wont start. land rover said gone into alarm mode anyone know how to take it out of alarm mode

Check the ignition barrel electrical connections before doing anything, they are a common fault and do detach and cause wiring shorts, this fools the vehicle into thinking its being stolen. There is also a unit situated behind the dashboard clocks which are also a known common fault, its part of the immobilizer and also are well known to short out when being jump started with leads or a booster pack, it isnt coded. Hope it helps good luck.

1970 GTO big block with MSD ignition. Starts fine from cold. Once warm the engine dies and all electrical items are dead (dome lights, gauges) with no ability to restart. Once cold, the engine can

You'll need to trace the electrical from the battery to the starter and key switch when it goes dead. Could be a connection at the starter or in the harness.

sounds to me like you have a dead battery, a bad starter, or the elect. fuel pump in the tank has gone bad.

I have no heat, the heat wont come on what could it be

When it's cold check your radiator to make sure it's full, if so your heater core may be clogged, your blend door may not be functioning or possibly the controller has gone bad. I suggest taking it to the dealer for this kind of problem as it could be a number of electrical problems.

Cars battery was dead after jump starting the car

The cold air is not related to the battery trouble.

I order for your car to MAKE electricity, there must be some power in the battery. If your battery is dead, when you jump it, you can run the starter motor but if you dont put electricity back into the battery, the alternator will not make power. And ... you have the blower on consuming any power that might be remaining in the poor battery.

You might need a new battery and you might need a new alternator in your 15 year old Park Avenue.

2001 ford 250 s/dv-10turns over fine. wont start sometimes.when it starts it runs fine.seems like cold weather makes it worse.if it starts it wont die.started about a month ago and getting worse.

Make sure the battery doesn't have a dead cell or is over two years old first. Then depending on usage I would definately think about getting a new starter. I would suspect your battery first, due to the cold weather corrolation.

Daytime headlights wont go off

For starters unplug the battery so it won't go dead. It sounds like an electrical problem possible relay or module gone back. Be careful with this electrical stuff, get a pro to check it out.

Hard to start by sub zero temp

oh oh oh, thats why father christmas uses a horse,,,
dieal engines dont get very good starting when its realy cold,,,
the heater light may go out but are they getting realy hot???? if not it wont start very well, my trick is give it twice the heat turn the kye to pre heat when the light go's out very quikly turn it off and back to pre heat again,,, when you have dont this the second time start her up,,,
now watch her go??? the heater relay should hold the heaters on for a minuet or so even though the light has gone out, so your could be fulty and it turning them off to soon, and a biseal with out heat is a dead duck if its cold,,,do as i all ways do if its cold,,,,twice the heat then start her up, it takes far less out of the battery that cranking up twice

Electrical. wont re-start unless cold.

You probably have some corrosion on your battery terminals. Make sure they are clean and connected good and tight.
