You need to actually see where the oil is leaking from to determine if it is a gasket leak or if your drainplug is loose or the worst would be a cracked block.

sounds like your head gasket is leaking if you have a coolant pressure tester, or know someone that does, by using this when your engine is cool, you could watch the antifreeze drip out, also pull your oil dip stick, check to see if your oil is bubbly, and if your oil level is high, only it would be high if you don't lose oil, burn oil and the level was fine to.start the other thing is might be, is your heater core, its on the passenger side, back on the firewall, there are two hoses that are about a inch in size that go into the firewall , then into your heater core, look around this area to see if any antifreeze is there, then go inside your car on the passenger side, feel the carpet to see if it is wet with antifreeze, if so, then your heater core is bad but with the white smoke, I am more to say its your head gasket, don't use any of those quick fix treatments that you put in your coolant, it will only do a temp fix and clog up your heater core, and radiator,

Leaking oil Ford Freestar-was halfway between two lines on dipstick when I checked last week-puddle this evening and am down just past the bottom line-put in a quart but am worried to drive the car to

well it could be several things like pan plug seal cracked, oil pan leaking, rear main seal bad, front engine seal bad, head bolts not properly torqued, head could be cracked, but I would start with the oil pan drain plug seal and work from there.

It is a possibility that the leak may come from bad seals from the water pump or a bad water pump. If you also observe bubble in the coolant inside the radiator when the car is running or water coming out of the exhaust you may have a bad head gasket. The coolant comes out of the bad part of the head gasket near the outside which lets water outside the engine as well.

After driving home from work, found a huge puddle of oil in my garage floor, ( apparently it happend that morning ), Checked my oil, none on the dipstick ! There is oil all over the coolant bottle,...

if it is coming from up top it might be the cam cover or the seal at the front-put in enough oil to read it on the dip stick and start it up, if it is that bad it should be obvious

Leaks oil under right side of car not burning oil just puddles while parked

Did you check your oil filter to see if the leak is coming from there. Sometimes when the old filter is removed the old o ring sticks to the block. When the new filter is put on it leaks from not getting a proper seal.

I put $20.00 worth of gas in the car and it went to1/2 and i drove 20 miles and the gas hands is on E i have a problem. There is no gas lick that i know of.

I would put a couple gallons in a can and put in my trunk i know that, If there is no apparent visual leak, no puddle under car.then maybe its a bad fuel read. I would drive car and see how far you can go on that E read. After you get that gas can with a couple gallons in it,and dont forget the funnel. THat car should get at least 120 mi on 6.5 gallons, so its a good size leak to pump out 5 gallons in a 20 mi stretch. i think you would smell it. so hopefully its just one of those weird moments.

It sounds like you have the wrong thermostat installed in your car. You need to get the water to the block quicker then what it's doing now. Always check oil every time before driving. This is a must on older cars. Some Mechanics differ, but in the long run it will pay off. An oil spot beneith the car might be bolts that need to be tighten on the oil pan, of you may have a bad oil sending unit. Also ehck power steering pump fluid level and make sure there is not a leak there.

I h8 leaking fluids

that tells me that its definitely a head gasket leak, behind the exhaust manifold there is a row of bolts that runs from front to back about half an inch below the bolts is where the seam between the head and the engine block is see if you can clean this area off and look for fresh antifreeze. does the oil look like coffee with cream in it?
