Thats no help at all ! You will have a hard job to get the inlet manifold off on the 3.0 diesel ,the rail oil pressure sensor is inside the camcover its not the same item as a oil light or oil gauge sensor.

All Diesel 3.0's isuzus

If you get an engine that wont start or cuts out then look at the big clump of wires by the dipstick - they all seem pink but one is white on the car side of the plug pull that out and see if the engine fires up .
If so then it might be the Rail Oil Presure Sensor at fault.

I just got a new oil pressure sensor installed and the oil pressure light still on any tips

Use an analog gage in place of the oil pressure sending unit. Check the actual oil pressure reading, compare the reading to vehicle specs. Go from there. Maybe your oil pressure is low for some reason? I wouldn't drive the vehicle till you diagnose the problem.

I don't know year--make--model of vehicle? Is this a high-mileage engine?
