I fixed all the minor parts and my car still overheats

I have a 94 honda civic ex and it overheats i have replaced the headgasket, radiator what else could be the problem

the fins on the water pump could be worn off it keeps the water from circulating. Hope this helps please leave a comment. Check your top hose and your bottom hose to see if the temp feels the same. If not your water is not circulating.

It really does overheat a lot when in traffic.

You need to check youe water pump, thermostat and your radiator cap and if all of that is good it sounds like a blown headgasket.

My car sometimes overheats and i can hear the water in my tank boiling under the hood? what would cause this??

Could be water pump, thermostat, low coolant level, air in the system, blockage in the system etc. Have it tested at a shop, the 3.8 in your car can easily blow a headgasket.

If checking your coolant system doesn't reveal any bad hoses, corroded radiator or leaking water pump shaft, you may have a blown headgasket which is far more serious.
