Is the pad on the remote? If so, then it would be the batteries. If it is the kepad on car, then the light inside the panel is likely bad as long as the entry is working. If not working, then it could be a fuse or relay or disconnceted/broken wire.

My keypad stopped working. Is there a battery for this?

if your keypad is factory installed there is no battery . if after market yes has battery. if factory, be sure no keys are in car, when you press in a code number does the pad light up ,if yes its getting power then it is probably the keypad needs to be replaced ,if not lighting up its not getting power, check fuses and wiring connections

What does the AIR solenoid control on the 2009 Pontiac G6?

I believe AIR stands for air injection recirculation or something like that and is the smog pump circuit. Does your engine have a smog pump on it? Did the 08? Keyless entry and delay lighting should not have been affected by engine swap, so check related fuses, relays and wiring.

Keyless entry for a 1999 dont work maybe its a fuse, dont no need help.

Press each button one at a time to make sure the pad lights up each time. If it does not you have a bad keypad.

Did you have your own personal code programmed into the key-less entry? If the battery went dead or was disconnected it would have reverted back to the original.

Key Pad Entry does not work

does the key pad light when you press a button at night? If yes, the fuse is ok.
Do you have the plastic card with the permanent code in your owner manual packet? If yes, tryit.
report back.

Keyless Entry The keyless entry keypad is hardwired to the GEM. The GEM interprets the inputs from the keyless entry keypad and then controls the associated operation. The keyless entry keypad will be illuminated for five seconds when any button is pressed. Additionally, it will request the illuminated entry feature to turn the courtesy lamps on. If a lock all doors code is entered, the illumination will turn off, as well as request the illuminated entry feature to turn off the courtesy lamps. When pressed, the keyless entry keypad supplies the ground signal to the GEM or the GEM receives a signal from the keyless entry remote transmitter. Then the GEM outputs a ground signal to the appropriate lock or unlock relay which supplies the power to the actuator to lock or unlocks all doors, including the luggage compartment. The keyless entry remote transmitter also unlocks the liftgate or activates the panic alarm by sending a signal to the GEM.

Doubt its a fuse. Most likely the key pad has failed and needs to be replaced. On the bright side this is a good problem to have and you have a very reliable car.
