Question about 2003 Ford Taurus
My 2003 ford tauruse will not start. I do not have any spark to the plugs. replaced the coil pack. no help. I've traced the discrepancy down to the Cam Shaft Position Sensor. I only have 1 volt at the sensor when the ignition is turned on, I have the same 1 volt when i Haynes manual say there should be at least 10 volts. try to start the car. I have 12 volts at the coil pack 4 plug connector. Replaced the Cam Shaft Sensor, Crank Sensor, Coil Pack, all associated relays, read all fuses and all checked good. Even cleaned the Power Train Module.
So no spark and a lack of voltage at the plug for the Cam Shaft Sensor.
Is it possible that my problem is the PCM?
I'd like to know what pins on the PCM go to the CMP. I'd like to read the wires for continunity or a short to ground. My HAYNES MANUAL ONLY HAS A BASIC SCHEMATIC.
Thanks Keith.. email@example.com
The pin locations are 21 & 22 on the plug.
I am working on a 02 Sable with the same problem,
let me know what you find out on this as I will be doing the same this weekend.
