My 1992 soverign does not need a battery.

My 1992 soverign has new battery starts in the summer but not in the winter. And sometimes has a high pitch door open sound sometimes non stop even when door is closed and drains battery. What does this mean?

It might be the bearing in the alternator pulley, or the brushes in the alternator themselves. I would try a new alternator.

My accord sometimes doesn't start. mostly does it when its hot outside. what causes this

How old is the battery? The extreme heat of summer and the extreme cold in winter take a toll on batteries often causing intermittant starting problems if the battery is four years old or more, or if it is a cheapo battery that is a few years old that is probably the problem.

Next time you replace your battery you need to find one with more cold cranking amps. It is much harder for the battery to produce the voltage needed in the cold. Batteries produce their peak amperage when new which may explain why you have no problems for a year.
