Question about 1994 Chevrolet Beretta

1 Answer

The turn signals in my 1994 Chevy Beretta don't work. The guy who sold it to us said he heard the fuses pop and that's when they quit working. My manual is missing the fuse diagram page. What fuse do I need and which one is the one I need to replace?

Get a test light and check every fuse. If it pops you will need to repair the short. I would have insisted that he fix it before purchase.

Boy, you have a shot out. A raw wire touching some metal, or wires touching each other. Going to have to trace your wires back to the fuse box, that is the hard part. Cross your fingers that is is found quickly.

My headlights have quit working on my 1994 Chevy 1500 pickup. I replaced the headlight switch but they still don't work. The parking lights come on but not the headlights

Try checking both a; your fuses, and b; check your bulbs. You should have two fuse boxes, one under hood and one in or under the dash. Check those for bad, blown or weak fuses. And check your headlights bulbs for them being good and their connection. If this doesn't fix your problem, you may check out your highbeam switch.

Chevy S-10 1994 Wipers don't work at all...cruise works, turn signals work, but no wipers. Fuse is fine

Park you car in a quite location.

Engine off

Turn wiper to high and listen for the motor rotation noise near the firewall (near the bottom of the windshield)

If you hear the motor rotation noise and the wipers are not moving then it's the linkage and/or the motor clutch.

Get to it ASAP. A loose bolt connection can damage the linkage arm or clutch.

It's time consuming to replace these hard to reach park.

GM Corsica/Beretta 1988-1996 Repair Guide

The turn signal flasher is mounted in a clip on the right side of the steering column support bracket. The hazard flasher is located in the component center, under the instrument panel, on the right side. Replace the flasher by unplugging the old one and plugging in the new one.
