Heater turns on sometimes mostly not at all, it

Heater turns on sometimes when i start my car, or it will click on while im driving but very rarely does it come on. it usually will only blow a little bit of air in the front and back defrost. when it does come on full blast it only comes on for awhile and shuts off i can never get it to stay on while its on, then when it does shut off either when driving or when its in park warming up, my brake light comes on too every time it just shuts off.

98 Chevy Lumina engine wont turn over

Its time for another car Jerry.
The oil pressure light was telling you the engine was running on less than 10 psi of oil pressure, and the knock was a rod or main bearing.
Now that the engine has been run low on oil pressure for some time, one of the rod or main bearings is junk, and so is the engine.
By the time you replace the engine, even with a used one, you could take the same money and buy another car. Even if you took the engine apart and fixed the bad bearings, the rest of the engine parts are very weak from running without oil.
