Off the (joy-stick) in the cab, can you hear the hydraulic motor run when it's set to move to the left???,if so when you changed hoses, did you have all plow angles and heights "centered" when you did this? you may still have a lack of hydralic fluid to that position, does it try to move that way (jittery)?if so, again check for an air pocket in this line and re-bleed the system, overtime it will work itself out of the lines, but you may have it trapped in this hose run

HOW TO GET WESTERN SNOW PLOW TO GO LEFT AND RIGHT

Hydraulic fluid doesn't really freeze. When it does, we wouldn't be around to see it. You need to go threw electrical. Go to there web site and see if you can get a diagram for it. Old systems are fairly easy to go threw. Newer ones have PC boards. Older ones, the stick/switches go bad first. But it always wise to loosen, then tighten the nuts that hold wires first. Corrosion sets in because it isn't used for so long.

Plow doesn't always go down

Did you try angling in both directions? If the blade is angled all the way to one side (most likely to the LEFT), it could be that the valves are stuck directing fluid in that specific direction. Check that you are getting power to your "B" solenoid when you are trying to lift the blade, and power to the "C" solenoid when you are trying to angle in one direction but not the other.
