Clean battery post clamps good, and check and clean ground wire to battery. if that does not help, check ground strap from engine to car body. best of luck. toolman,

BATTERY GOES DEAD CAR NEEDS JUMP

Battery constantly goes dead, even after it was replaced.....do the simple tests on it before you spend big bucks having a shop pin down the problem....you will need needle nose pliers, 20 volt dc scale volt/ohms meter, test light 12v, battery charger 12v,bright flash light.
Ok lets get this party started, first have the battery charged over night if on a slow trickle, keep the battery cables off overnight, next put the volt meter on it black neg...red pos. set to 20 dcvolt scale, statically the battery shoukld read 12.5 volts anything less it needs to be replaced, next.. reinstall the cables and start the car...what is your reading...12.5 volts???? this is straight battery voltage and indicates that the alternator/regulator combo is not charging... cause may be a broken wire off the back of the alternator or a bad alternator, possibly a stretched and loose alt. belt.
If wires look ok and the belt tests tight(with engine off try to turn the alternator pulley by hand, if it turns the belt is way too loose or defective..tighten or replace)..then suspect the alternator/regulator...remove it and take it to Discount Auto or Auto Zone there they will bench test it for output if no good replace it.
Ok if your reading was 13.0-14.5 the alt/reg is charging, turn on all electrical is the reading on the dv volt scale at about 12.8-13.0 volts, this is fine...now shut all accesories off and it should go to full charge 14.5..all good....anything less have the alt/reg bench tested as stated above.
Ok everythibng seems to be in charging order but it still goes dead...you have a direct drain on your electrical system knocking the daylights out of your battery, ok first disconnect every mercury under hood and trunk light you find and let it sit overnight(also go around the car in the dark and see if any lights are lit such as a bad brake light switch illuminating the brake lights while you sleep thus draining the battery overnight) next morning does it start...yes then replace the mercury lights and be certain they are adjusted perfectly because they cant be seen if they come on under the hood or trunk, Ok all that and still no find...take the positive cable off the battery and in series with it install your 12v test light...needle pin in the cable alligator clip on the post or vice versa....you are now testing for a draw in the system that may be killing your battery while sitting over night,
go to the under dash fuse panel and one fuse at a time remove it... each time while it is removed check to see if the test light is on or off...it will go off when you find the circuit that the drain is in, mark the fuse in the panel when you find it and see if you can visually observe any wiring problems in that particular circuit(have a manual handy to locate which fuse controls what circuit in the fuse panel) example if the cigar lighter fuse is pulled out and the test light goes out... look at the lighter element... we have found children who put pennies inside the cigar lighter element causing a horrible drain on the battery and very difficault to find as well.
Hope this helps in you diagnostic adventures of basic electrical 101.

What drains the battery on my 2009 chevrolet K3500?

Could be many things. Try hooking up amp meter to battery to see how much drain exists. Bad alternator diodes can cause this. Parts store can test this. If it's ok,then pull one fuse at at time to see if drain goes away. If you find which fuse stops drain check that circuit for shorts. Also check for glove block light staying on or other such.

Battery drain wont start

If the battery is new and ok, and the alternator tests ok, there may be another accessory in the car that is causing the drain. Use an ammeter and one by one pull the fuses out of the fuse box, noting which one causes the drain to go away. There should be no more than .2 Amps draw in a normal vehicle. If it's 2 or 3 amps, this can lead to a drained battery in a day or two.

2006 trailblazer ac only blows on #5 speed. Replaced blower resistor & control panel. Also on any lower speed ip lites up i.e. abs, traction control,e-brake &seat belt?

****, you can check some more but from what I am reading your problem could be related to a faulty ignition switch. I am sending you a copy of some fixes.. you can compare to your condition..
Best of Luck to you..

2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS 4.2L, Vin S, Eng Cfg L6
Customer Concern: No blower motor function. AntiLock Brake System (ABS), Red Brake Warning Light (RBWL), Traction lights all on. Radio does not work. Tests/Procedures: 1. Check for battery voltage at fuses #31 and 39 in Rear Fuse Box under the rear seat.

2. If the voltage value is less than battery voltage, check the Orange wire at the 48 cavity connector located at the base of the steering column at pin D1.

3. If the voltage is low at C201 check the voltage at pin "G" of the ignition switch.

Potential Causes: Ignition Switch

2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS 4.2L, Vin S, Eng Cfg L6
Customer Concern: ABS, Low track light comes on intermittently. The heater blower motor quits running, 4WD not working. No communication with the ABS. If you disconnect the ABS computer and plug it back in, it may work. Tests/Procedures: 1. Test voltage at HVAC 30A, 4WD 15A, HVAC 1 10A, BRAKE 10A, TBC RUN 3A labeled fuses in the rear fuse block during the problem.

2. Inspect connector 101 38 cavity connector mounted along the underhood bussed electrical center. This harness may be routed tightly around the underhood fuse block, causing chafing or connector terminal contact that could induce any of the concerns listed.

3. Clean and secure ground G110 located on the lower left side of the engine block. Potential Causes: Damaged Circuit 300
Damaged Connector C101
Improperly Installed Engine Compartment Harness
Malfunctioning Ignition Switch

It wont start at all and we put jumper cables and

You might want to have then check the alternator. Sometimes an alternator will test ok but once it has been running for a while, the dilinoids (not sure about the spelling), will basically cause a short circuit in the electrical system and the alternator is no longer charging the battery which drains the battery.

I have a2004 trailblazer, for the past 2 weeks sometimes when i go to start it its like the battery is dead i have had the battery, alternator & starter tested all are ok, now it wont start again and...

Sounds like a parasatic Load/battery drain. This means that when you turn your car off something is still on and its draining your battery. You'll need a voltmeter and connect the red probe to the negative terminal on the battery and the black probe to any good ground on the vehicle and see how much voltage its drawing with the vehicle off. Usually a half volt is the most allowed but see what the shop manual says. Then start pulling fuses and watch the voltmeter until the draw is with in spec's. The fuse you pulled that restored the draw to normal is the affected circuit. It's either shorted or grounded out. Repair it and restore the fuse ,recheck. Good luck.
With regards to the key jump start the battery and calmly remove the key as you normally would.

What is a tbc fault on a 2006 ford f350 6.0

That is your trailer brake controller that is built into your dash. If you are hooked up to a trailer it could mean you are losing your connection or ground to the trailer. If you are not connected to a trailer it means there is a problem with your brake controller possibly a short in the wiring caising the fault code.

H2 battery runs down overnight battery test ok when checked something is running battery down.

sounds like a short circuit, check any aftermarket items first, a slow but easy way is pull on fuse at a time and check current flow from battery un til it stops, when it stops check fuse and see which system is draining
