Question about 1988 Ford Ranger
Take the plastic cover from around the steering column. There's a small hole under the lock Inside the hole is a small button you need to push in on which should release the lock cylinder. The key has to be in the switch. If that doesn't work, theres a thin metal rod that goes into the electrical of swirch. You need to remove it than try to turn the key. Than push in on the little button while trying to remove the lock .
