Question about 2001 Hyundai XG300

The dash lights won't work on my 2001 hyundai xg300. we checked the fuses and they are ok, what could be wrong?

    the dimmer switch does nothing, could it be bulbs?

Check the dimmer switch.

    I would say that chances are pretty slimm that al the bukbs are burnt. I dont know how many there is in your dash but there is more than four or so. It may be the dimmer switch itself. or the circuit wireing for it.

2001 hyundai xg300 3.0 liter no throttle response, codes p1191,p1151 tps checks out ok,aps checks out ok,throttle motor ok and throttle control module ok


Check the fuel filter to see if it is restricted,and if it is not have the fuel pump pressure checked,this is the most likely cause of your problem.

Where are the fuses located on a hyundai xg300?


Passenger compartment fcse box is located under the dash, driver's side near and left of the emergency brake lever/arm

Left rear brake light won't work with new bulb

Electrical problem with 2001 hyundai xg300


Check the wiring behind the headlight.
It sounds like you have a short somewhere.
A live wire is making contact with an earth somewhere.
