I have a 2000 Chrysler Concorde, and the battery light keeps going off an on. I've already bought a new battery and Crankshaft Position Sensor. It's been starting hard and the battery just died in it.

Did you have the alternator checked? When the battery light comes on, it indicates either the battery is very bad and is draining power from the system, or the alternator is not providing enough voltage to keep the battery charged.
Once you have the electrical problem taken care of, and the system is getting proper voltage, you can see if you continue to have problems with the engine performance. (The crankshaft position sensor has nothing to do with battery charging)

Change your Crankshaft position sensor, or your camshaft position sensor. Same thing happened on my car about 3 months ago.

1998 chrysler concorde, what does interm loss of CMP or CKP mean on a OBDII scanner

It means that intermittently you are losing the signal from your camshaft position sensor (CMP) And you are also losing the the crankshaft position signal sensor (CKP). these are magnetic or hall effect sensors that go out sometimes and are necessary or you could have a poorly running vehicle or it may not run at all. hope this helps you out!!!

Crankshaft sensor location and replacement procedure

It is on the rear of the engine, passenger side. You need to access it from the underside and it is halfway up the block between the head and the oilpan. It is real close to where the engine and transmission meet.

Check the cranshaft position sensor located under the timing cover. Also check the camshaft sensor located near the camshaft.
