You can try this reset?
With the key in the off position; remove the RDO BAT fuse for at least 10 seconds then replace the fuse; turn on or start the vehicle and try the A/C again. Removing the fuse should reset blend actuators.

Did you get the right thermostat they have different thermostat you probably want one that will kick on soon so find one that is around 65-80 degrees. Or you might need to just check to see if you need more antifreeze this is usually the problem when it gets low the heater doesn't get warm but since you replaced your thermostat I believe your antifreeze may be to low.

Truck will not heat up. I have put a new thermostat in. Also it has the right mixture of antifreeze, and clutch fan is working. Radiator, and hoses don't get warm!

Make sure the new thermostat was not put in backwards, tap on thermostat housing lightly could be stuck in the open position.

I have a service engine soon light on. I was told it was either the temp sensor or thermostat. replaced the thermostat and now the heat wont turn on.

Meaning your not getting any heat? I would suspect a higher temp thermostat was put in, and now its taking longer to get heat... Its also possible the thermostat is faulty... Either way, I would try a new thermostat again... The check engine light wont come on from a thermostat so change the CTS...

are you using a 190 degree thermostat..do you have a faulty sending unit, also check the heater control valve, make sure you are putting the thermostat in correctly, dont mean to make you sound bad, some of these thermostats are funny

89 cadillac sedan deville not blowing heat !!

Yes, that would involve removing the old thermostat, installing a new one, and also a new gasket. What does your temperature gauge indicate when the car has run a while and is warmed up? If the gauge indicates that it is running on the low side, or never seems to warm up, it could indicate a thermostat stuck in the open position, which will prevent it from reaching operating temperature, and would explain little or no heat situation. 1st, tough, check the coolant level. If it's low it could cause the no heat problem.
