My 2004 Lincoln LS rattles each morning when I start it. It usually does not rattle during the day, but it does every once in awhile. Is this a timing chain or tensioner problem? If so, is this...

The V8 LS does have a history of timing chain tensioners bleeding down and causing a rattle as you describe. Make sure the oil filter you are using has a anti drain back valve. New tensioners are very labor intensive to install. Lincoln has no recalls for this problem hopefully you have some extended warranty to help with the cost of this repair.

Where do i add transmission fluid in my 2004 lincoln ls v8?

There is no need to add, unless it leaks

The way it is filled, is through a 3/8" pipe plug on to tail housing
or blowing it into the center of the trans pans drain plug, after
removing the center 1/8" pipe plug and using an adaptor going to
your pressurized container.

With the car at 180 degrees or more and level, remove the center
pipe plug and the fluid should just run out.

The drain plug it's self ,serves as the level indicator,it has a tube
extending upward ,that establishes the correct level.

I need to know where is located the transmission oil deepstick of a lincoln ls 02

There is (none)

You remove the 1/8" Pipe Plug, from the center
of the trans pan drain plug, with a T30 Torx Bit

With the fluid at 180 or hotter, and vehicle off the ground,
so you can get under it,and level, the fluid should just
about run out

To fill, you can use a 3/8" allen wrench, on the trans
rear extension housing, pipe plug

Mercon V Fluid--about 3.5 to 4 quarts,if draining
