Why does my heater fan not blow?

Could be bad fuse, bad ballast resistor or bad fan motor. You can test the motor by using a jumper wire straight from battery + to the single terminal right on the motor, if you can get to it. Ballast resistor is located under hood mounted in the heater box with two or three screws. If you unplug the wire connector from it and remove it you will see two spring like coiled wires. If one is broken, you have found the problem. If the fan does not run on any speed, most likely bad fuse. This can happen because trash/leaves get in the heater box and jam the fan which then overloads and blows the fuse. You may have to clean this out as well.

I have a 91 Geo Metro an the heater has stoped working an would like to know were it is located

its in the heater box, right dash.
1: fan blow full speed? (heater fan?)
2: does engine hold and reach 180F ?
3: when you slide the hot cold lever. does its end of able move?
and does it move the damper flap from closed to open(open is hot)
knowing these simple facts, allows diagnosis.

My heater/air conditioning fan stopped blowing. Checked fuses, they are fine. No power to fan.

cooling fan relay could be bad, check relay by making a fuse jumper wire.look at the relay control circuits on relay look for control circuits terminal number 85 and terminal 86 hook fuse jumper wire terminal 85 on relay to good ground and take terminal 86 on relay hook up a jumper wire touch battery positive terminal relay should click if not, relay bad.

My heater fan just stoped workin. when i first got it a couple months ago it worked like a charm. when it got colder out it started to get weaker and now just nothing.

Replace the blower motor. You can pick these up at any automotive store for about 20-30 bucks. It's located in the heater box and only takes about fifteen min. to replace. It is only one wire and about 5 screws and out it comes

I have a 1999 Jeep Wrangler and the heater fan stopped working for all the fan speeds. The fuses are fine. How do you know if it is the blower resistor or the blower motor?

If you bypass the resistor pack and connect the motor directly to the fused 12v supply then the fan should run at maximum speed. If so, it's the resistor pack that's blown: a very common fault on a huge number of makes and models.

I have lost the blower fan for the heater. It

It sounds like either a blower relay or the blower motor went bad.If you can run a jumper wire from the battery to the blower and the blower works then its the relay thats bad
