Question about 1996 GMC Sierra
Hello, check modulator valve, its on the side of transmissiom towards the back on passenger side, also check and see if your air line is hooked up to the modulator valve, lots of times if air line is not hooked up, it will not shift, or it will shift real hard, have to run motor at high rpm to get to shift, its almost like you put in a shift kit, thats bad on tranny, and check your linkage,. loosen linkage. put truck in netraual, and transmission in netrual also. tighten the bolt, check and see if you have all gears, if not, modulator may be bad or tranny
