How do I hook up manual choke on 1405 elderblock

The power lead (12 volts) goes to the "S" terminal (small wire) of the Alternator, "S" is for Stator, then if the choke has a ground terminal it hooks to any convenient place on the engine, the intake bolt is best, just make sure the choke ground is less than 3 ohms.

When I turn the key all I get is a clicking sound

Electrical power is getting 2 the sttarter solenoid but not 2 the starter. Make sure all wire 2 the starter r good & nuts r tight on starter & on battery. Battery should read approx 14 volts, 11volts or less bad battery. Make sure ground wire from battery is good & connected properly. Remove any wires suspect clean all connections retry.

99 chev suburban. My lights flicker when I drive. Sometimes when I hit a bump my radio resets and abs wheel sensor goes wild.

sounds like you have a loose wire somewhere. Check the thick wire that leads from the battery to the starter and from the ground to the negative battery terminal.

Very rare occurrence you are describing.

I hooked up the starter to my 93' gmc seirra and it just makes a noise like it is blowing air... did i hook it up wrong?? can u show me a diagram of how to hook it up?

Did you get the right starter, just because it look the same does not mean it is the same. These starters come with different drives for different engines.Make sure you have the right one for your truck. Two bolts and two wires did you put the small wire on the wrong small terminal,I bet you did.Switch the small wire to the other terminal, the atarter is turning but the drive is not going into the flywheel.

Check the wires on starter solenoid to make sure they are in the right spot. Sounds like the ignition wire terminal on the solenoid is getting constant power. I hope this helps!
