there are numerous possibilities /reasons for the engines fault you mention but the best advice is to have a diagnostic read out and this will point you the fault by giving a code number as to component/s causing the problem however to have this done at garage is expensive but if you know of somebody with OBD 2 code reader ? ask nicely? if they can check its readout for you ?

Hyundai tuscon: petrol. after about a 100 miles the revs start to limit to 4000 and reduce to about 3200. This makes driving tricky especially when overtaking. changed timing belt, pully, fuel filter,c

I'm not familiar with your Hyundai, but the symptoms could be several things, I am thinking 1 in particular. Change your coil pack. I think you have the single coil pack that runs all cylinders. They can break down inside and not create the 20,000 volts or so that you need consistently. When you get to running temps, the coil gets extremely hot and can start breaking down and losing it's power.

Heavy idle, random misfire code 04 trailblazer

I would start with the inlet manifold gasket, these are know to break down causing vacuum leaks which can cause this issue, also check around engine for other vacuum leaks

I have a 93 Eagle Vision we ran out of gas now the car will turn over but is getting no fire

There may be an air lock in the fuel line or fuel pump.
Pour some fuel in the carby and start the engine. You may need to do this a few times to get the air lock out of your fuel line/pump.

Car was running a little sluggish, changed plugs and car ran great for 45 minutes then started running rough. checked ignition module, coil packs. all ok. replaced wires, ran better then started running...

Make sure the HT leads are secure. They might be popping off, causing it to not fire on one cylinder. I always change the plugs and leads at the same time to keep them the same age. HT leads break down rapidly and need regular replacement.

Runs great then stops sometimes and takes awhile to start back.replaced coilpack any sugguestion

I would take the ignition module and have it checked. Its the plate the coil packs bolt to. Auto Zone or most places can check them.Have them check it @ least 3 times back to back,so it heats up.When they get hot they sometimes break down. If not most likely the crankshaft sensor breaking down.

1999 chevy malibu, stalls, no restart after getting to running temperture. fuel ok, cranks but misfires when hot. cools down and starts. runs good cold. crank sensors ok

Sounds to be a bad ignition module or one of the coil packs. Will need a scan tool to know what cylinder (s) are misfiring in order to narrow it down.

99 Ranger- Consistant coil pack issues....

What is the engine size? Have you checked the ignition module? Check the output of the crank sensor at the ignition module to verify wiring integrity. The signal is shielded so insure there is no break in the insulation.

This sounds like the timing belt is shot. Remove the distributor cap, have your helper crank the engine. Is the rotor turning?? If not, then it is the timing belt. Some engines are rather forgiving when the belt breaks, some will get bent valves. Frankster016
