Question about 2001 Ford Windstar
I have a 96' Chrystler Town and Country. We just recently changed the oil and brakes. Then drove it home, and around town, then back home and when I got in the driveway, I stoped and it kind of jerked, then wouldnt move anymore. I can start it, put it in every gear, but it wont move at all. Please help me figure out if there is any use in taking it to the shop to get it fixed.
It is possible the parking brake is hanging up or a shoe in the drum has gotten hot, expanded, and "locked up" the brake.
You may also have a caliper that has "siezed up".
I recommend taking at look at all wheels, you may have to take each one off seperatly to find the problem.
Please let me know what you find.
