Check the water control valve and heater core. These two items can get plugged up or go bad too

When you engine is warmed up is the top radiator hose hot ?
Is it hard to squeeze ?
You may have a bad head gasket.
Let me know what you find.

Engine Gets Hot, thermo stat replaced, new radiator, water pump works. What's wrong?

possible head gasket failure or cracked head. Check for water in exhaust to confirm. Remove/inspect spark plugs for water/coolant.

I bought a 98 Dakota, it started over heating, I changed the thermostat, and when I went to flush my radiator, it was plugged. Can they put something in the radiator to temporarily make the car run good?...

Drain the coolant when it is cold and pull off the upper and lower radiator hose. Put a garden hose in the radiator neck (after removing the radiator cap) and turn the water up gradually and let it run for 15 to 20 minutes or until the flow is constant. If your water pump is not noisy or leaking and the pulley is not wobbling then you should not have to replace the water pump. You may want to flush out the block with water also. I have replaced a water pump in a 98 dodge dakota sport after i put the motor back together and put water in it it still had water pouring out of the bottom of the motor. is there a freeze plug or a bypass...

yes there are freeze plugs are you sure your hose clamps are tight,is this leak the reason you changed water pump, you need to have this truck on a hoist so you can find the origin of the leak

I put on a new clutch fan and do not know how to reset it to the thermos stat

Clutch fans don`t need to set, they just screw onto the water pump, the heat from water pump travels into it to turn it on.
