The irradic idle of the engine is not a concern, after many years the fuel/air mixture gets to a point where the emission control has to constantly compensate by increasing and decreasing the idle speed. As far as you not having throttle control do you mean that when you depress the accelerator pedal, nothing happens? The idle compensation control is located on the drivers side of the throttle body and has a toothed gear at the end of the shaft that may be turned out to increase your idle or reverse for lower idle. Thank you, Dana

Additionally you may want to check your ignition timing, this is a charactoristic problem with the S-10 series vehicles with high milage. This would certainly lend to your low/ irradic idle situation. Thanks again, Dana

I dont think ur problems in the throttle first place to check is a stuck egr valve it is located by the thermostat housing with a three to four wire connection remove the two bolts that hold it and check to see if there is carbon build up if so you can try to clean it with throttle body cleaner of brake parts cleaner then reinstall an try to start

What fuse is used to power the heater motor in a 1999 chevy blazer 4 x 4 s10?

It may not be a fuse, but instead a relay (30amp) located in the fuse block INSIDE the engine compartment, not inside the vehicle interior.
Relays go bad too though.

1. Locate the red two wired programming connector located near the central locking control module that is located behind LH Lower instrument panel. Drop the panel and you will see the red programming connector that is not connected to anything.
2. Inside the Red programming connector you will see to pins..
Jump two pins with a section of wire.

I have 94 s10 blazer 4.3 the prob started the

throttle position sensor, or check to make sure you have vacume going to the map sensor. Alot of times the outlet on the throttle body gets plugged and there is no vacume at the map--causes it to die. unplug the throttle position sensor and then rev it up and see if its better.

1988 chevy s10 blazer 4.3, cut out , will srart but will not stay

Your vehicle as an ignition control module located on top of the distributor (under the cap and rotor) I would pull the ICM and take it to NAPA and have it tested if bad replace it (cost about $80). Sounds like a ICM problem or it could be the ignition switch located on the steering coloum which can't be tested but costs $20. Hope this works

My 84 blazer wont shift

Your 84 wiring harness is for the TCC ( transmission converter control) system.
On the left side of the carburetor (driver side) you should have 2 cables, one for the accelerator and the 2nd for the TV (throttle valve) control. You will need to adjust the cable for correct shift points. Under normal circumstances you will have 7 to 10 mm's extending beyond the cable adjuster block.
Should take care of the issue for you.
Let me know.
