How do i put water in my radiator?

you need to replace thermostat and radiator cap.look under hood around engine compartment.look for a radiator cap near radiator, add 50/50 antifreeze and water to coolant system to bring up boiling point.pure water will cause engine run hotter because water evaporate away, remove radiator pour coolant in the radiator until coolant stop dropping in the radiator now some vechicle pour coolant in the coolant overflow jug, pour coolant until coolant level stop dropping and the coolant level stay at cold full mark.start engie let idle few minutes, watch coolant level in radiator if coolant start dropping add more coolant, when coolant level stop dropping put radiator cap back on let engine idle until both top radaitor hose and bottom coolant hose get warm turn off engine wait until it get cool then take a large rag slightly open radiator just a litle at a time to keep from getting scaled.once radiator remove add more coolant if low,put radiator cap back on start the engine let it idle watch the temp gauge if temperature gauge going hot zone stop engine wait until cool then add more coolant, keep doing this until engine stop overheating going into hot zone and coolant level stop dropping, make the coolant overflow jug coolant level stay at full cold mark, dont let jug run empty if so air will get in the coolant system causing engine to overheat.

Is it normal for the coolant fluid to near the low level when engine is cold, then the level goes up when the engine is warm. I already topped it up with a coolant fluid twice after a long trip.I can not...

yes it is normal for the coolant level to be low when cold
when the vehicle is warmed up-pressure builds up and the level rises
so you never want to over fill the fluid or it will overflow
that is why you never remove a radiator cap or a pressurized coolant jug cap when the vehicle is hot

How do I check tranny fluid? 2002 jeep liberty sport 3.7 liter

there should be a dipstick under the hood similar to the engine one, usually the fluid level is checked when the transmission is at normal running temp. with the shifter in N or P but make sure the hand brake is on.....hope this helps.....cheers

Engine misses but when i speed up it stops. Check engine light comes on then blinks when it misses

we first thing need to have someone scan for engine codes.... this also can happen by turning key to run position,,,,, at the same time push the off and warm button on the ac control head... hold them in until dash resets then have pen and paper ready and write down codes,,,, enter them into a search engine and follow repair tips

Leaks radiator fluid and fans dont turn on

make sure u have enough antifreeze (coolant ) in the resovoir and bleed all the air out of system. do this by;letting engine run till good and warm no t over hot, then stop engine (make sure resovoir is full or a little over full)leave for about 35 to 40 minutes and see if coollant level has droped(it should this is normal) refill and repeat proscess over and over untill the coolant level stops ,u will notice it will take longer and longer for engine to warm up this is also normal then start engine and watch temp ,so it dont over heat, wait for fans to come on if they dont try a coolnt sensor and repeat this over again/thermastat is also some thing u can change(may be when u change coolant sensor/check fan relays and fuses before proceeding with all these remidies

A8 4.2 v8 engine overheating v reg 1999 no oil loss check system ok temp falls to normal if heater on full maybe engine fan failure ? coolant level ok thanks craig

run it and let it get hot (not to the point of overheating just let it warm up to normal or slightly above normal).  put your hand near the upper radiator hose, if you feel not heat, touch it, be careful as it may be hot.  if it is not hot at all but the engine is warmed up it is the thermostat, the thermostat is located where the upper radiator hose connects to the motor, usually a 2bolt metal fitting, if this is the case just replace the thermostat.
