check for lose, or broken conections
also check battery cable ends for corrosion which can cause a poor conection at the battery clean and retighten as necessary. hope this helps!

I don't think it can be reset without a dealer spec scan tool. Has the service been done? if so, the servicing garage should have reset it. Oil Changes are not "service" If it has not been done, have it done. If the service garage does not have the proper tools to reset the service indicator, they don't need to be working on MB.

hi this sounds like you might have a relay that is on the blink, even though it only does it to one of the lights , this is because they are on separate circuit from each other, you will have to locate your fuse box and find the headlight relay, it should be clearly marked on the cover, and try changing it out, or.. you might just have a loose or corroded wire to the plug on the back of the headlight itself, pull the plug off the back of the headlight and examine it for a greenish type powder if you do find that the wires may be water logged and might need replacing from a certain point on the loom, or just clean the plug first and see how you go, some electrical contact grease is ideal....hope this helps

You will need a code reader/scanner called OBD2. They are under $50. A nice one can cost $100-$3,000. Just buy one that does the job...no need for the more expensive ones. You can borrow one from some auto parts stores, like the AutoZone.
You can also pay a shop this much to do it for you, every time.
Just select erase codes, and you're done.

Remove a switch that works and put it in place of the faulty one, if it works ...then you know it will take a new switch.

There is a special tool that resets the service warning called a code reader that plugs into your Mercedes computer. It reads any trouble codes and there is a button on there that erases old codes and service warnings. The tool is expensive and some garages have it and might do it for you much cheaper than the Mercedes dealer.
